Pecan is a beautiful towering tree, with compound leaves that stand out in any landscape.  The Northern Pecan when well cared for, can start producing nuts around 12 years old, but unlike its Southern cousin, they are smaller, averaging around 1” long.  They are excellent for humans & wildlife. Plus, who doesn’t love Pecan pie?
