Baldcypress trees are best known to grow in southern U.S. swamps, but also survive well in many other types of habitat. Baldcypress trees lose their needles every fall and grow new ones in the spring.  This long lived tree provides good seed for wildlife and provides good wildlife cover.  Wood is very decay resistant.
