Please join us on Tuesday, May 28th at the Waverly Community Center from 6:30-7:30 to find out what you can do to help reduce the urban nitrogen load impacting our groundwater / drinking water supply.

Sarah Browning, UNL Extension Educator, will be giving a presentation discussing ways to asses your lawn’s need for fertilization and normal turfgrass water requirements to best manage your lawn through the hot summer months.

This event is being hosted by the Lower Platte South NRD in partnership with the UNL Extension and the City of Waverly.

About The Presenter:

Sarah has been with Nebraska Extension since 1998 - in Dodge County from 1998 to 2010 and in Lancaster County in Lincoln, NE from 2010 to the present. Since 2010, she has been a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and also a member of the Nebraska Arborist Association. Working with the general public and commercial green industry professionals, her major program goals include conserving water, protecting water quality, promoting local food production, and protecting human health.
