Temperature/Precipitation Outlook - Weather in LPSNRD can change rapidly.  The Climate Prediction Center (CPC) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) produces a variety of forecasts for temperature and precipitation for the short term (few days-few weeks) and longer term (few months).  In addition, the Drought Center of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln issues weekly updates to drought conditions across the country.  All of these forecasts are updated frequently with the best available data for climate, precipitation, hydrology, and many other sources.  Checking these resources on a frequent basis will give you a good idea of how temperature, precipitation, and drought are changing not only in LPSNRD but all across the United States.
