Meadowlark is a 320-acre property including a lake of 55 surface acres. The lake is located in Seward County four miles west, one north and one mile west of Agnew. There are access roads along its southeast and southwest shores.
A concrete boat ramp and parking area are located near the west entrance (no wake boating). Many fish habitat improvements were made in 2006. The recreation area includes virgin prairie and a walnut grove.
Admission is free and no entry permit is required. Enjoy parking areas, boat ramp, no wake boating, camping, fishing & hunting - Nebraska game permits are required for fishing and hunting.
Entrances on the North side of Little Salt Rd - 0.6 mile East of 154th Rd (-96.919105, 41.031445) and 1 mile East of 154th Rd (-96.911428, 41.031461); Additional parking available in lots on the South side of County Line Rd - 0.8 mile East of 154th Rd (-96.914867, 41.046070) and 1 mile East of 154th Rd (-96.911413, 41.046050)
*Fishing Regulations: Largemouth Bass - 21-inch minimum length; Walleye/Saugeye - 15-inch minimum length. No live baitfish may be used or possessed.
