WMA Rules & Regulations

Little Salt Springs WMA is a 122-acre public access Wildlife Management Area about 8 miles north of Lincoln, at NW 12th St and Branched Oak Rd. The area is used primarily for hunting and wildlife observation. There was minimal native grass seeding on formerly cropped acres in 2007 and there are also saline wetland acres. There is a parking area on the South side of Branched Oak Rd - 0.32 miles West of NW 12th St (-96.742662, 40.968944 ). Visitors should respect adjacent landowners.

Hunters should observe posted and state shooting limits and must have hunting permits - Nebraska game permits are required for hunting and fishing.
