Draft 2 of the Fiscal Year 2023 LPSNRD Budget is available for public review.  The district will be taking public comment on the budget at a Public Hearing on August 10th and distict's Board of Directors will have final consideration at its regular monthly meeting on August 17th.  The public will also get a chance to comment on the tentative budget.  Becoming involved early in our budget process gives the Board time to implement any suggestions, prior to final consideration of the budget in August.

Here is a schedule of public comment opportunities:​

• Special hearing to set final tax levy, Wednesday, September 6, 5:30 PM
• Board of Directors Meeting and consideration of Long Range Implementation Plan and tax levy rate resolution, Wednesday, September 14, 7:00 PM

All meetings are scheduled to be held at the Lower Platte South NRD office, 3125 Portia Street, in Lincoln. Due to the current closure of 14th Street due to road construction (both north and south of Adams Street), we recommend you utilize Adams Street from either the west or east (via Cornhusker Highway) to travel to the NRD Office. Public comments will be welcomed at all of these meetings and hearings.  Comments may also be emailed to:  probinson@lpsnrd.org.  Check back here (LPSNRD.org or Facebook) for meeting location changes and other related announcements.
