We Help You Preserve

NRD Photo Each of Nebraska's 23 NRDs has its own locally elected Board of Directors which creates and customizes programs and projects to best preserve and protect the natural resources in that District. As a result, programs vary between Districts.

Since 1972, the Lower Platte South NRD has been continually improving its wide scope of programs to protect our precious natural resources and to better serve constituents.  We have programs to help landowners improve conservation and production on their farmland, programs to help towns and individuals keep their water supplies safe from pollution, programs to help students better understand the importance of our natural resources, programs to help keep special tracts of land in their natural state and much, much more.

If you have a need for services related to natural resources and are not able to find the information you need on this web site, contact the NRD.
