Realizing that teachers often need curriculum specific activities for their students, the Lower Platte South NRD has created several activity sheets filled with student activities (word finds, cross-word puzzles, fill-in the blank, etc.) using curriculum vocabulary.

Classroom Activity Booklets
The Lower Platte South NRD is pleased to offer area teachers classroom sets of natural resource and environmentally related student activity booklets. Each booklet contains age-appropriate information and activities. By requesting a classroom set of a specific resource, you will receive enough booklets for each student in your class.  These booklets are yours to keep FREE of charge!

In addition to the Classroom Activity Booklets, the Lower Platte South NRD also offers Stewardship Week Materials each winter. These resources, like the Classroom Activity Booklets, are available for each student in your class and are yours to keep. Each year, the NRD offers a new set of materials on a different topic, however, some past materials are still available. Topic of Stewardship Week include: water, soil conservation, and habitats.
